FIREFIGHTERS used a 7-metre ladder to gain access to a property at Warrington – to extinguish a candle.
The candle had been left burning at a property at Fearnhead last night (February 11) and was unattended.
Two fire engines from Warrington and Birchwood were sent to the incident in Mere Road shortly after 7.30pm.
Chshire Fire and Rescue Service advise that lit candles are not left unattended.
