A road was closed near Appleton Thorn, Warrington, as emergency services attended a collision involving a car and a motorbike.
The incident occured on Grappenhall Road, Appleton Thorn at around 4.30 pm today, Monday.
The collision took place near the junction of New Lane.
Shortly before 5 pm police closed the road while paramedics assessed the rider of the motorbike.
Firefighters also attended at the scene due to smoke being reported coming from the car.
