AS Warrington’s largest provider of apprenticeships, Warrington & Vale Royal College is proud to champion National Apprenticeship Week, taking placefrom today, Monday 9th February to Sunday 15th February 2026.

Throughout the week, the college will be involved in a campaign to celebrate the successes of its apprentices, share insights from key employers, and raise awareness of the benefits of choosing this educational pathway. Meanwhile, on campus, current students will have the chance to participate in a range of workshops and activities to discover current vacancies and hone the skills necessary to secure these lucrative opportunities.

With over 40 years of experience in delivering technical education and skills training, Warrington & Vale Royal College prides itself on being Warrington’s leading provider of apprenticeships, with opportunities for both adults and school leavers ranging from accounting, bricklaying, customer services, early years, laboratory sciences, and motor vehicle.

In its most recent Ofsted inspection (November 2024), the college was praised for the comprehensive support it offers apprentices, with the report acknowledging that “apprentices feel welcomed, well supported and cared for. They develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that they need for their next steps in an exceptionally supportive and nurturing environment.”
By working with over 800 organisations and employers, and with recent investments surpassing £13 million in state-of-the-art facilities, technology, and equipment, Warrington & Vale Royal College is committed to ensuring apprentices receive only the very best education in an environment which supports them and helps develop skills for life.
For individuals who are currently considering an apprenticeship, Warrington & Vale Royal College is hosting a virtual Q&A on Tuesday 10th February. During the session, held on Microsoft Teams, the college’s dedicated Apprenticeships Team will be on hand from 4.00pm-5.00pm to talk about the benefits and opportunities available, as well as answering any questions attendees may have about becoming an apprentice.
