Enrolment is now open for Warrington & Vale Royal College’s upcoming Skills Bootcamp, which is centred around the construction trades.

‘Get into Construction’ starts on Monday, February 2 and is a two-week-long course designed to provide practical training and career progression in the growing construction sector.
This Skills Bootcamp is tailored for unemployed individuals who are looking to enter the construction industry. Delivered in the college’s Construction & Civil Engineering Academy, Get into Construction offers hands-on training in key trades including bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, electrical installation, plumbing, and heating. Successful completion includes a FREE CSCS Card*, which is a vital credential for employment in the sector.
Get into Construction students will gain practical experience under the guidance of expert tutors and receive sector-specific career advice throughout the course. Supported by Vistry Group and Torus Foundation,  the bootcamp is designed to prepare students for roles as semi-skilled or skilled labourers or to progress onto apprenticeships. In addition, students will have access to live job vacancies through recruitment agencies, offering a direct pathway to employment.
Skills Bootcamps are developed in collaboration with industry partners to meet regional and national skills priorities. They offer a unique opportunity for individuals to gain in-demand skills, access expert training, and connect with employers in growing sectors.
