AN industrial unit on the Taylor Business Park at Croft will be converted into a gymnasium if plans submitted to Warrington Borough Council are approved by planners.
The building was last used as an industrial/storage unit but Chris Haggarty Champion Sportswear Ltd are proposing the change its use to a private gym for an athlete they sponsor.
It would be be used by the sponsored athlete only.
The premise is located in the business park which is a mixed use area, located off New Hall Lane.
The site is bound by commercial properties to the south and east and it has one access point.
Planning officers are currently studying the proposals.
