Drug driver arrested after driving wrong way around roundabout

A DRUG driver was arrested at Whittle Hall, Warrington, after driving the wrong way around a roundabout, almost causing a collision.

A police officer conducting a proactive patrol saw a car being driven towards him and the vehicle was travelling the wrong way around a roundabout on Whittle Avenue and nearly caused a collision.

The female driver stated that she had got lost, however, when requested she gave a positive drugs wipe which would explain her driving.
She was arrested and will be dealt with for several traffic offences.
