Police issue Prison Rehabilitation Scheme scam warning

POLICE have issued a Prison Rehabilitation Scheme scam warning following a rise in reports of males knocking on doors in the Lymm area looking to sell items on the doorstep.

Local police are warning it is a scam and is designed to gain more information about local residents to sell on to criminals

They are urging local residents to be vigilant and do not purchase any items and say there is no such thing as a Prison Rehabilitation Scheme.

Anyone who witnesses suspicious behaviour can report it via 101 or online via CLICK HERE or 999 in an emergency.
