Police seek witnesses after cyclist injured in hit and run incident

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a cyclist was injured in a hit and run incident involving two motorcyclists at Latchford, yesterday evening, Tuesday.

Officers attended at the scene on Knutsford Road near the junction of Brook Place, Latchford, following reports of a collision involving a pedal cyclist and two motorbikes which failed to stop.
The 26-year-old local man was taken to hospital by paramedics and now police are seeking witnesses to the incident.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 6.50pm on Tuesday, November 17, officers were called to reports of a collision on Knutsford Road near to the junction of Brook Place.
“Police and paramedics attended the scene and found that a peddle cyclist had been involved in a collision with two motorcyclists – the two motorbikes failed to stop at the scene.
“The cyclist, a 26-year-old local man, was taken to hospital by paramedics.
“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
