Warrington Male Voice Choir will welcome Warrington-born violinist Pippa Clarke back to her hometown for a special concert at St James Church on Saturday 10th October.

Pippa grew up in Warrington before going on to a career that has taken her to some of the world’s biggest stages.
She made her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2007 and has performed with orchestras across the United States, including the Buffalo Philharmonic and Honolulu Symphony.
Her violin playing also features on the soundtrack of the Robert De Niro film “15 Minutes,” and she was named a rising star at Chicago’s Ravinia Festival.
Based in Warrington today, she performs regularly as part of a duo and has appeared with the London Sinfonia and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The concert, titled “Echoes & Elegance,” will be the Choir’s first official hosted concert of 2026, and takes place at St James Church, Wilderspool Causeway, Latchford, Warrington, with doors opening at 6.45pm ahead of a 7.30pm start.
Musical Director Russell Paterson said: “This is a wonderful concert for us, in collaboration with a truly world-class violinist. Pippa will be performing a number of beautiful, recognisable violin pieces that the audience will know and love, alongside several pieces where she’ll be joining the choir together. It’s a real treat. An evening of harmonies, both voices and strings, coming together.”
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s, and are available online in advance or by cash on the door. Teas and refreshments will be served on the night. As seating is limited, early booking is recommended.
