FIREFIGHTERS were called to a late-night fire at a block of flats in Warrington after an oven caught fire.
Two fire engines from Warrington and Penketh attended Greenings Court shortly after midnight on Wednesday, September 23.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus entered the affected flat and found the fire involving an oven.
The blaze was quickly extinguished using a hose reel jet, while firefighters used a high-pressure fan to clear smoke from the property.
The occupant was taken to hospital as a precaution to be checked over.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
The incident was recorded at around 12.15am.
