The St. Rocco’s Hospice ‘Make a Will Month’ returns this October to help local people plan for the future while supporting vital hospice care.
The hospice is once again partnering with local solicitors for its annual Make a Will Month, allowing the community of Warrington to create or update their Will in exchange for a donation to the hospice.
Taking place throughout October, the initiative offers an affordable and accessible way for people to plan for the future with confidence while making a meaningful contribution to the compassionate care provided by St. Rocco’s Hospice.
As part of the scheme, participating solicitors generously waive their usual fee for writing or updating a standard Will. Instead of paying solicitor fees, participants are invited to make a donation directly to St. Rocco’s Hospice. Every gift helps St. Rocco’s continue providing specialist care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and loved ones, across the local community.
The suggested minimum donation is:
- £150 for a single Will
- £200 for a double Will
- £80 for a codicil
Appointments are now available throughout October with our participating solicitors; please contact them directly to book:

Making a Will is one of the most important steps people can take to ensure their wishes are carried out, and their loved ones are protected. By taking part in Make a Will Month, participants can gain peace of mind while supporting the future of their local hospice.
St. Rocco’s currently supports 1 in 6 patients through gifts generously left in wills. As a registered charity, we rely heavily on fundraising and donations like Gifts in Wills each year. Each pledge made and gift kindly donated will support St. Rocco’s essential services, enabling them to continue delivering expert, compassionate, wrap around care, free of charge to patients and loved ones when they need it most.
