Community support paves the way for next year’s Stockton Heath Festival

Thanks to community support and very well-attended fundraising events, the popular Stockton Heath Festival will be going ahead in 2027.

Festival supporters raised additional funds of almost £1,600 for the charity through a recent crowdfunding campaign. Further contributing factors included sponsorship from local businesses, grants from Appleton, Stockton Heath and Walton Parish councils, and Grand Draw raffle ticket sales. This collective community backing has made a positive difference.
Chris Rees, Festival Coordinator says: “The mission of our much-loved Festival is to make sure art, culture and heritage thrives in our community. And that anyone can make the most of what’s on offer without the hefty price tag that can sometimes put such activities out of reach for families and households to enjoy.
“For anyone who bought a ticket, made a donation, volunteered, brought their friends (and furry friends) to one of over 50 activities this year – you weren’t making one gesture, you were helping to turn the ambition of running a Festival next year into concrete action. I’m proud of the positive impact the community giving has already had, and excited that volunteers can now start planning for 2027. We want to keep building on this year’s efforts to secure the Festival in the longer-term.”

The Festival will run from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th July 2027 and new ideas are already being put forward. Feedback is being encouraged via this online form https://forms.gle/WNkMSWc6cF26NK5m8 or help shape the next Festival at an informal public meeting on Wednesday evening 9th September at Hungamaa Restaurant.
