TWO fire crews were called out to help deal with smouldering waste after smoke was seen coming from the back of a bin lorry in Warrington, yesterday, Wednesday.
At 12:31, crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath attended reports of smoke coming from the back of a bin lorry at a yard on Grey Street, Warrington.
They worked with onsite staff in a yard to remove the contents of the lorry and damped down the waste.
Earlier at 11:31, one crew from Warrington attended reports of a fence fire on Folly Farm Close, Bewsey.
A small fire located in a rear garden and involving a fence panel was damped down by firefighters. It is believed the fire started accidentally due to smoking materials.
