THREE fire crews were called out on Saturday night following reports of machinery on fire at commercial premises at Winwick Quay, Warrington.
At 21:44, crews from Birchwood, Lymm and Penketh attended the premises on Calver Park Road, where an item of machinery was well alight at a commercial site in Warrington.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.
Police were also in attendance.
In another incident at 22:03, one crew from Warrington attended reports of a fire near Lockton Lane.
A bucket of water was used to extinguish a fire involving a bale of hay in Warrington.
Also at 21:31, one crew from Warrington attended reports of a bin fire on Cromwell Avenue.
A bucket of water was used to extinguish the small fire in a bin.
