Warrington Youth Zone has received a generous £200 donation from Bellway to purchase much-needed sports equipment for young people attending the youth zone.

The donation will fund a range of new sports resources including netballs, indoor footballs, badminton nets, rugby kicking tees and sports chalk, helping to enhance the Youth Zone’s extensive programme of activities and opportunities for local young people. The new equipment will be used across a variety of sports sessions, encouraging young people to stay active, develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy positive experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Jamie Patterson, Head of Fundraising at Warrington Youth Zone, said of the donation: “We are incredibly grateful to Bellway for their donation. Every contribution we receive helps us provide more opportunities for the hundreds of local young people who access the Youth Zone each year. The new sports equipment will be put to great use and will help us continue delivering engaging activities that inspire young people to lead active, healthy lifestyles.”
With several developments in Warrington, including St Oswald’s Place in Winwick and Neptune in Croft, Bellway was keen to get involved with Warrington Youth Zone.
Lynne Duxbury, sales director at Bellway, adds: “Supporting local communities is an important part of what we do, and we are pleased to be able to contribute to the fantastic work being carried out by Warrington Youth Zone. We know how important access to quality facilities and activities can be for young people, and we’re proud that our donation will help provide new sports equipment for the young members to enjoy.”

The donation marks the beginning of a new relationship between Bellway and Youth Zone, with opportunities to explore further support and engagement in the future.
