FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a conservatory fire at the rear of a residential property at Woolston, Warrington, on Friday evening.
At 20:32, fire engines from Warrington and Lymm attended the property on Lawson Close, Martinscroft, Woolston.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel water jets to extinguish a conservatory well alight at the rear of a property. The cause of the fire was accidental.
In another incident at 21:58, one crew from Warrington attended reports of a grass fire in the open on Manchester Road.
Crews used a hose reel water jet to put out around 25 square metres of grassland on fire.
