Theatre company’s new play – set on Warrington Central Station

AWARD-winning Warrington theatre company Soup Productions is returning to the stage with an all-new, original drama – set at Warrington Central Station.

“Off Track” tells the story of a group of strangers, all joined together under frustrating circumstances, as they wait for the next train – a story many public transport passengers can relate to. From a bickering couple to an on-edge clown, a fussy train clerk to a social media influencer, a very unorthodox nun and everyone in between, it certainly will not be a quiet night at this station.
The show tackles many issues in a light-hearted and poignant way, issues relating to modern-day living, which is a trait Soup Productions is recognised for.
“Off Track” is a production that shows the group’s values that audiences have come to know, scripts created by its members and aspiring writers, which has been acknowledged by its audiences and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.

Soup has had a busy year so far with its productions and is planning ahead with its adaptation of the Sweeney Todd story and a brand-new pantomime on the way with “Santa Vs Claws”.
This show is suitable for ages 16 and over, containing strong language, sexual references and themes of mental health.
It runs on Friday and Saturday July 3-4 at 7:30pm at St John’s United Reformed Church, Stockton Heath.
Tickets are £12.00 from www.ticketsource.com/soupproductions
