POLICE have today sadly confirmed that a body has been found in the search for a missing man with links to Warrington, last seen near Ince Marshes.

It follows a public appeal for help being issued by Cheshire Police on Monday following the disappearance of Scott Astbury.
The 42-year-old, who had links to Warrington, was last seen at around 9.30am on Sunday, June 14, near the Ince Marshes area of Ince, Cheshire West.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers searching for a missing man from Chester have confirmed that a body has been found.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but it is believed to be that of Scott Astbury.
“His next of kin has been informed.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
