AROUND 100 Volunteers are needed for Mayor of Warrington Sagheer Zaman’s Litterpick on Sunday, 28th June.
The “2026 Mayoral Litterpick” will be held at Warrington Town Hall and will be a multi-team public litterpick, aiming to tidy the heart of Warrington.
This will also be Warrington Litter Volunteers’ biggest litter pick of 2026 – the perfect way to celebrate with the public after winning the King’s Award for Voluntary Service!
The Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Sagheer Zaman, will welcome the volunteers and join them on the litterpick.
The best clips and drone shots will of course be shared with TV presenter Stacey Dooley’s team. They expect these will be included in Stacey’s 2027 BBC TV programme about Warrington’s Litter Volunteers.
