WARRINGTON author Cilla Shiels has published her third novel ‘An Everyday Housewife,’ which tells of her early life and with her tempestuous first husband!
Cilla runs ‘All Seasons’ writing group based at Warrington Disability Partnership on Wednesday 1.30 – 3.30pm. Originally, a six-week project, is now an established group with excellent attendance.
She compiles collections of members short stories and poems which is published annually on Amazon, Royalties of which are donated to the Partnership for their hospitality.
Cilla publishes books on Amazon including children’s stories; memoirs; a self-help book on Management and is now on her third novel.
Her latest book, published by Austin Macauley, ‘An Everyday Housewife, will be on sale on Amazon and in all good bookshops from 19th June.
‘An Everyday Housewife’ tells of her early life and with her tempestuous first husband. It took just six words from her husband to make her leave her marriage behind. She went into higher education and secured a post as Head of Department in further education.
Cilla writes, “People may feel trapped but fear they wouldn’t cope if they made changes to their current life, when in fact, they are probably the ones doing all the coping anyway!”
