LATCHFORD Albion moved up to second in the NWML Division Two table after an entertaining victory against a resilient Clock Face side.
Albion started strongly and opened up an early 12 point advantage through tries from Fin Crowe and Sean Withington, both converted by Dave Manfredi.
Clock Face hit back with two tries of their own before Ethan Mchendry raced in at the corner giving Latchford 16-10 advantage at half time.
After the interval an early converted Clock Face try levelled the scores but this spurred Albion into life who took control of the game with three quick fire tries.
Seventeen-year old debutant Arthur Crase crossed first , followed by tries from Ethan Gaffney and Josh Cordwell, all converted by Manfredi which saw Albion establish a comfortable lead.
The last 10 minutes saw tries traded by both sides. Latchford’s came from prop Oliver Jolliffe to round off an impressive performance.
Latchford are on their travels this week with a trip to Portico Vine.
