ONE casualty was taken to hospital after three fire crews were called out to tackle a kitchen fire at a residential property in Warrington.
At 10:55 yesterday, Thursday, three fire engines from Penketh, Stockton Heath and Warrington attended reports of a fire at a property on Leicester Street.
The fire, which is believed to have been caused by plastic left on a hob, was out on arrival.
A high-pressure fan was used to ventilate the property. All persons were accounted for, and one casualty was transported to hospital by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
