THE Friends of Culcheth Library are hoping to see a beautiful display of wild-flowers outside the library this summer.
Wild-flower seeds were donated by Bent’s Home and Garden and Friends’ co- vice-chair Janet Evans, assisted by a borough council gardener, spent a morning planting them.
Janet said: “Ian, the gardener, was so knowledgeable and hard-working. We spent about five hours raking the ground and sprinkling the seeds. Hopefully we will get a good show of wild-flowers as a result of our efforts.”
