UP to seven weeks of road works are set to take place in the Latchford area of Warrington to allow United Utilities to install new water mains.
The works are expected to start on May 11th.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Brook Avenue from its junction with Bridgewater Avenue to its junction with Mersey Walk; Bowman Avenue from its junction with Bridgewater Avenue to its junction with Waring Avenue.
The Order will be effective from 11th May 2026 for 7 weeks, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes will be signed on site. The closure is required to allow for United Utilities to install new mains.
