Grappenhall – still finding life difficult in the Cheshire County Cricket League – went down by 108 runs at Haslington.

Winning the toss, they decided to field and saw the home side total 209 all out.
In reply they were bowled out for 101, with no batsman getting to grips with the bowling.
But Grappenhall 2nd came out on top by five wickets in a thrilling home match against Cheadle Hulme.
The visitors batted first and were all out for 196, Stanley Pennington taking 4-59 and Ross Arrowsmith 4-27. Grappers replied with 198-5, skipper Graham Rowlands hitting an unbeaten 90.
Grappenhall 3rd, all out 105, went down by eight wickets against Nantwich, 106-2.
Warrington lost at Bredbury St Marks after the home side had hit 170.
Ashley Scholes top scored with 25 as Warrington were bowled out for a disappointing 125.
Warrington 2nd won by five wickets against Urmston, who were dismissed for 108.
Warrington 3rd won at Trafford Metrovics, hitting 153 and then dismissing the home side for 147.

The local derby match between Warrington 4th and Appleton 3rd ended in victory for Warrington, who hit 238-5 and then bowled Appleton out for 183.
Appleton 1st had a narrow victory over Holmes Chapel, hitting 154-9, Ian Richards 28 and Martin Cooper 27, and then dismissing Holmes Chapel 151, Aamir Akash taking 8-12.
Glazebury went down against Winsford, who hit 194 despite good bowling from Chris Ayre and Ben Marota, who each bagged three wickets.
Skipper Andy Calbert hit 38 for Glazebury but the side were all out for 132.
