Police investigation ongoing after armed gang attempt to steal motorbike at retail park

A Police investigation is ongoing following reports of an armed gang attempting to steal a motorbike from outside premises at the Junction Nine Retail Park off Winwick Road, Warrington, on Sunday afternoon.

Three men, believed to be armed with knives and a hammer, were caught in the act of attempting to steal the motorbike, which was secured outside premises at the business park.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson confirmed: “At 12.47 pm on Sunday, April 19, police were called to Junction Nine Retail Park, Warrington.
“It was reported that three unknown male suspects had attempted to steal a motorbike.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
