THE case against a 19-year-old Warrington teenager who had been accused of two counts of rape has been discontinued by the Crown Prosecution Service and all charges have been dropped.
The 19-year-old man of no fixed address had been arrested at around 2.15am on Saturday 27 October.
He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of assault by beating, two counts of the rape of a woman over the age of 16, sexual assault, common assault and intentional strangulation.
He had also been charged with threats with a bladed article in a public place and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.
