TWO fire crews were called out to reports of a kitchen fire at a residential property in Fearnhead, Warrington.
At 17:22 yesterday, Tuesday, crews from Birchwood and Warrington attended at the premises on Nairn Close, following reports of smoke issuing from a house.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fire in the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and the property was ventilated to clear it of smoke.
All persons were accounted for. The fire is believed to have been caused by an item being left on the hob.
