The work is scheduled to start on November 10th and will also include the installation of a HV cable.

Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Warrington Lane from its junction with Burford Lane to its junction with Agden Lane.
The Order will be effective from 10th November 2025 for 7 weeks, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Burford Lane, Higher Lane, Lymm Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow for the construction of a flood defence wall and the installation of a HV cable.
