Prohibition of Driving: Ireland Street between its junction with Winwick Road and its junction with North Avenue.
The restrictions will be in place as and when signed on site. The access, alternative route and reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised.

The Council also made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 21st August 2025. They are setting out high standards for the future of buses, including:
Cheaper fares
More frequent, punctual services
State-of-the-art vehicles, with the highest standards of quality and accessibility
Faster and more reliable journeys
Better on board experience for passengers
The significant improvements are part of the national strategy, Bus Back Better, which aims to modernise bus services across the country.
