IT was a busy shift for police in Warrington on Friday night, tackling anti-social behaviour at Culcheth, dealing with a suspicious male in Warrington town centre and arresting a recovery truck drink driver who was more than double the limit.

Police, including Cheshire Specials, carried out high visibility patrols in Culcheth, following reports of repeated anti-social behaviour in the area.
A driver was also issued with a TOR (Traffic Offence Report – otherwise known as “a ticket”) for running a red light at a pedestrian crossing.
Officers also had to deal with a suspicious male in Warrington Town Centre.
As well as attending numerous other “Grade 1” incidents a Cheshire Special also located a driver in a recovery truck who blew 84 at the roadside, who was arrested and taken into custody to appear in court at a later date.
