PICTURES: WITH grey skies and rain, it was the perfect weather for ducks at the annual Lymm Duck Race.
Organised by Lymm Roundtable and sponsored by Kids Planet, with numerous other local businesses and members of the public sponsoring ducks, the event helps raise thousands of pounds for good causes.
Despite grey skies and rain, it didn’t deter large crowds from turning out to support the event.
Roundtable members poured hundreds of plastic ducks into the lower dam in the village centre and then waited to see which duck went over the finish line first!
After the event, all ducks are collected and recycled for future events, including the Latchford Duck Race, later in the year.
