A number of local road closures will be in place around Lymm village centre this coming Bank Holiday Monday (April 21) for the annual Lymm Duck Race.
The event, organised by the Lymm Roundtable helps raise thousands of pounds for locla good causes and attracts large crowds to the village centre.
Warrington Borough Council has given ntoice on the occasion of the above mentioned events, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or other vehicle (excepting vehicles taking part in the event, Police, Ambulance and Fire Service vehicles and Mail Carts) and no horses or other animal be allowed to remain in or travel along or over any of the undermentioned streets, between the hours of 7.30am and 5.00pm on Monday 21 April 2025.

N.B. An alternative route will be available for through traffic via Brookfield Road, Dane Bank Road, Dane Bank Road East, and vice versa.
Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicle” and must not be ridden through any of the above streets during the hours specified. Any person willfully acting in contravention of the above order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
Vehicular access to premises will only be permitted under the guidance of the organisers.
Pedestrian and emergency routes will be maintained.
