FORMER estate agent Andy Phillips has made a sparkling career move after relaunching well-established oven cleaning service Ovenu Warrington.
Andy, who previously spent more than 12 years working in the property sector, was drawn by the flexibility of being his own boss and the obvious opportunities to grow the business.
This follows a brief pause in service, following the retirement last year of long-standing franchisees Paul and Andrea Clark, who spent 15 years restoring the shine to more than 15,000 ovens.
Andy, who is Warrington born-and-bred, said: “I know first-hand how hard it can be to find a reliable oven cleaning service – I struggled to get my own cleaned properly, which is part of what inspired me to get involved with Ovenu. My goal is to deliver an exceptional service that people can count on and, eventually, expand by bringing in additional technicians.
“Being my own boss and getting out and meeting people is a welcome change after years spent in a rigid, office-based role. The flexibility of running my own business means I can spend more time with my family and enjoy a better work-life balance – something that’s hugely important to me.”

The Ovenu process involves dismantling key oven components – such as doors, interior panels, fans, and shelves – and cleaning them in design-registered tank equipment using safe, non-caustic, and biodegradable products. The service leaves ovens in near showroom condition and also covers hobs, extractor hoods, microwaves, and range cookers.
