The Lymm Photographic Society has announced a new and exciting community exhibition in the Sanctuary Cafe starting today (April 5), “Agden Brook Farm – a Year in the Life of a Cheshire Farm”.

The exhibition is on between Saturday 5th April to Thursday 17th April (Saturdays 9am-4pm, Tues-Fri 9.30am-3pm).
This exhibition is the culmination of a collaboration between the Lymm Photographic Society, Agden Brook Farm and The Lymm Archive (Lymm Heritage Centre). The photographs document life on the farm, and other tenanted locations around Lymm, over a 12 month period. Free entry.
With the farming industry changing rapidly, Mr Frank Cookson of Agden Brook farm in Lymm asked Lymm Photographic Society (in association with Lymm Heritage Centre) to document his farm, and other tenanted locations that they operate around Lymm, over a 12 month period.

This exhibition is just a small selection of the photographs taken.  They encompass, amongst other things, milking, milk testing, cow washing auction preparations, the auction, planting crops and harvesting.  And the staff of course.
More photographs can be found at the Lymm Archive.
