THREE fire crews attended reports of a garage fire at a property in Lymm.
At 20:56 on Thursday evening, crews from Lymm, Warrington and Altrincham attended the premises on Birchfield Road.
Two hose reels were used by the crews who needed to cut away part of the building to get to areas of fire. Paramedics also attended to treat one casualty. They were at this incident for approximately two hours.
In another incident at 16:49 one fire crew frfom Stocklton heath attended a fire on a towpath at Delph Lane, Daresbury.
Bracken on fire on a canal towpath was extinguished with a hose reel by firefighters. Due to its location they used water from a backpack to put the fire out and checked the area with a thermal imaging camera, to ensure there was no further fire spread before leaving.
