On Saturday 18th January, 90 volunteers travelled across Warrington to pick up Christmas trees for St Rocco’s 12th annual tree collection campaign.

This year, to commence the 40th year celebrations, a record-breaking 2,700 trees were collected from supporters who booked a collection amongst the community, raising an incredible £42,773 towards patient care at the hospice.
Charlotte, Senior Events Manager, said “As St. Rocco’s Hospice is a local charity, we rely on the generosity of the Warrington community for most of our funding. Your donations for this event have helped us raise an incredible £42,773 and this money will go directly to caring for patients and their loved ones.  We couldn’t have achieved this without the help of our volunteers and the businesses who helped on the day, and we are so grateful for all their hard work.”

A huge thank you to all the companies and volunteers who supported this event including: Our Volunteers, Warrington Borough Council, ADS Recycling, B-Engineering Group, Beesley & Fildes, Buzz Building Services, CEF, Colas, PSD Vehicle Rental, Sandstone Supplies, Urban Garden Projects, Warrington Electrical Supplies, DPD Pressure Cleaning, 5 Star Catering, HMS, EFG European Furniture Group, LWC Drinks Company, Inco Contracts, John K Phillips, Beechwood Industries, Holly Oak Tree Services, Warrington Sports Club, Birchwood High School, Reddish Farm, Lymm, Brosters Environmental.
