WARRINGTON weightlifter Josh Summersgill is now ranked 3rd in England for Weightlifting after winning Bronze Medal at the England Championships last week at the NEC Birmingham.
Josh from Westbrook won Bronze at the England Weightlifting Championships in Birmingham twelve months ago and achieved 5th place at the British Weightlifting Championships 6 months ago.
Josh opened the competition with 110kg snatch lift then 113kg. He successfully lifted and finished at 143kg lift to clinch the bronze medal.
The England Championships was a two-day event and on the second day Josh coached two of his lifters, who lift under his weightlifting business JS Weightlifting, and they both were successful, winning Gold and Silver medals at the event.
A delighted Josh stated: “I was so happy to achieve Bronze but even happier that my lifters both won Gold and Silver medals!”
