OFFICERS investigating the disappearance of a 54-year-old man from Warrington have confirmed that a body has sadly been found.
Formal identification is yet to take place but is believed to be that of Mark Edwards. His next of kin has been informed and specially trained officers are supporting them whilst enquiries continue.
Mr Edwards was last seen at around 9am on Tuesday 10 December in the Fearnhead Lane area of Warrington.
Police launched a public appeal and believed Mr Edwards travelled to the Denbighshire area of North Wales.
