Healthwatch Warrington highlight priorities for the year

HEALTHWATCH Warrington highlighted their priorities for the year during a special event at the Gateway.

The event provided an opportunity for partners and the public of Warrington to hear how Healthwatch Warrington is listening to residents’ voices and making positive changes.

The three priorities for the year, as chosen by the public are Home Care, Oral Health for Under 5s and Health Inequalities.

The event was opened by Healthwatch Warrington CEO Lydia Hughes and guest speakers included Rick Howell from Warrington Borough Council, who provided an update on Home Care Services, Lisa Fidler, Social Care & Enter and View lead, who gave an update on Home Care Project, Helen Howard from the Bridgewater Oral Health Team, Crissi Morad, information and engagement lead, who has created a bespoke oral health information programme and Ellie Harrison, from HomeStart Warrington, who talked about health inequalities.

Healthwatch Warrington also highlighted Trauma Cards, an initiative by Trina Reay and Healthwatch Essex.
The event concluded with networking and an open marketplace with entertainment provided by the Signing Mammas.
