Warrington-headquartered Kemtile, a division of Stonhard, has appointed a new contracts manager, Ken Dale to support the business after a period of unparalleled growth.

Ken brings over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry to the role, including work on projects across Europe, Canada and the UAE.
He comes directly from Stonhard Canada – so already a part of the wider Group – working as an installer for the last 15 years of his career, involved in some of Stonhard’s most complex projects, using tailored product solutions to meet client needs.
Kemtile Director Jamie Cook said his appointment had come at just the right time for the business after significant growth in the last 12 months.
He commented: “Ken will play a key role in supporting us during this boom period, using his diverse industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the Stonhard product range. He also knows the business well and understands how we work, offering single-source solutions to large-scale manufacturing customers in the food and drink, pharma and general industrial sectors. We are delighted that he has joined us.”

Ken is also expected to help Kemtile to manage opportunities with UK clients operating internationally, extending solutions across multiple manufacturing sites.” Kemtile already works in partnership with Stonhard colleagues providing bespoke flooring solutions across multi-site international brands like Coca-Cola, Greggs, AstraZeneca, and more.
Speaking of his appointment as contracts manager, Ken said: “It is great to continue my journey with Stonhard now in the UK, playing a new role for a fast-growing sister business. Kemtile is a highly respected player in the industrial flooring sector in the UK and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with existing and new customers to continue to help the business grow.”
Ken joins a team of 50-strong employees at Kemtile, specialists at tailored flooring – design, installation and management – working across the UK.
Earlier this year, the firm also appointed a new HSEQ manager, supporting its commitment to running projects in total compliance with health and safety legislation and prioritising best practice workplace safety for its people and clients.
