WARRINGTON is again under a yellow weather warning for snow and ice until tomorrow morning.

The Met Office said wintry showers and icy patches are expected this evening and overnight, leading to some travel disruption.
The warning states some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times.
They issued a message about some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths with the risks of injuries from slips and falls.

Although temperatures on Thursday are above 0C the windchill means it feels more like -2C.
Friday will be similarly cold with the Met Office yellow weather warning in place until 10am on Friday.
Many areas of the town still have a dusting of snow and ice from earlier in the week.
