A festive party like no other is inviting classic rock music fans to swap jingle bells and carols for crunching riffs and stomping rhythms.
‘For Those About To Rock’ returns for its annual gig at Parr Hall on Friday, 20 December.
The live spectacular, led by Live/Wire The AC/DC Show, has become a firm fixture in Warrington every Christmas due to popular demand, and this time the band are bringing ‘Shef Leppard’ along for the ride for the ultimate classic rock experience.
Always a thrill on stage, Live/Wire’s ‘high voltage’ two-hour set takes fans from one of the best-selling albums of all time, Back in Black, through to the 2020 release, PWR UP, as well as a healthy dose of the classics from the Bon Scott era thrown in for good measure.
Armed with not only only cannons and a full bank of Marshall amps but more than 20 years of touring experience under their belts, the band are renowned for their authenticity, passion and flair.
Meanwhile, Shef Leppard’s line-up includes none other than original Def Leppard drummer Tony Kenning as well as seasoned musicians who have worked with the likes of Saxon – making this much more than just a tribute.
