EUROPEAN wrestling champion Jacob Vadocq is set to come to Warrington for a special family-friendly wrestling event.
The French wrestling sensation who has picked up titles across the continent is set to appear for Warrington-based wrestling company Off The Page Promotions for their special
end-of-year event “All Hell Can’t Stop Us Now” on Saturday November 9 at St Benedict’s Social Club on Rhodes Street in Orford.
Vadocq is known as “The Amish Superstar” and is known for his comedic displays inside the ring
.
Off the Page (OTP) owner Ben McCurry said: “We’re so excited to bring this huge European star to the town of Warrington.
“We pride ourselves on being not just great wrestling but great family entertainment. We’re a little different but we like to think that everyone who comes to our shows leaves with a smile on their face, and that’s exactly what Jacob brings to the ring.”
The show is also set to include a host of wrestling talent from the North West, including OTP Champion Max Brooker, Helen Charlotte Campbell, Lucy Sky, beloved group VGS,
and the legendary Kevin Lloyd.
Bouts announced so far include Max Brooker taking on Liam Carr for the OTP Championship, which sees Carr returning from a tour of Canada, as well as rivals Helen
Campbell and Lucy Sky in a grudge match. The storylines between the competitors are expected to heat up as OTP approaches its big event at Parr Hall next year on August 9.
McCurry said: “We’re fully committed to building wrestling back up in Warrington. We remember when wrestling was regularly at Parr Hall for all the family and we would love to
bring those days back.”
Off The Page Promotions started life last year with a view to bringing back professional wrestling to Warrington. The company emphasises stories, big characters, and exciting wrestling action for all ages.
