M6 Northbound J21 to J21a NB remains closed at this time due to the police incident at that location. Officers are working hard to get the carriageway reopened as soon as possible. The roadworks that were in place J23 to J26 have been removed now, so that section is now open. pic.twitter.com/JJB4gBU34z

There are significant delays because the M6 is closed between junction 21 (Woolston) and 21A (M62) for a police investigation. Traffic is building heavily on surrounding roads causing delays to our services. Please bear with us as we do our best to keep everything moving.
