MEMBERS of Sir Thomas Boteler Church of England High School’s StageCraft group performed in front of over 200 people across three performances recently.

The school production, The Periodicals, is part of the National Theatre Connections Festival 2024.
Leader of Drama and School Productions Ms Armstrong commented: “I am so proud of the students for their commitment. We had wonderful feedback from the audiences, including Phoebe Kemp, our Mentor Director from the National Theatre, and Gemma Evans, our Festival Coordinator from the Lowry. They were blown away by the ensemble piece and the standard of talent displayed on stage. We are now looking forward to performing the show at the Lowry, Salford on the 19th April 2024.”
Headteacher Mrs Scott-Herron commented: “There are real complexities in a play like The Periodicals and our young people were highly engaged, maintaining a strong level of professionalism. This was really something special.”
