Police investigations ongoing after more than 700 cannabis plants found in disused bar

INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing after police seized more than 700 cannabis plants after executing a warrant at a disused bar in Warrington town centre.

It follows an operation by officers from the Northern Problem Solving Team and Warrington Neighbourhood team.

While no arrests have yet been made, investigations are ongoing.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, March 19, officers from the Northern Problem Solving Team and Warrington Neighbourhood executed a warrant at a large disused pub in Warrington town centre.

“It is estimated that 720 plants have been recovered. No arrests have been made. Enquiries are continuing.
“Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via www.cheshire.police.uk//tell-us/ quoting IML 1780464.”
