WARRINGTON-born defender Jarell Quansah was one of “Klopp’s Kids” to lift the Carabao Cup in a thrilling final at Wembley on Sunday.
Quansah, aged 21, came on as a substitute in a side containing a number of inexperienced youngsters due to a host of injuries to senior players.
He has established himself in the first-team squad this season, following a loan spell with Bristol Rovers last season. The ball-playing centre-half who has come through the ranks at Liverpool after joining them at the age of five from Woolston Rovers.

On 27 August 2023, Quansah made his professional debut for Liverpool, coming on as a substitute for Joël Matip in a 2–1 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League. On 14 December, Quansah scored his first goal for Liverpool against Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Europa league in a 2–1 defeat.
