FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night after a skip fire spread to a hedge at Appleton, Warrington.
At 23:23 one crew from Stockton Heath was called out to reports of a fire at Crosslands/Walnut Tree Lane, Appleton.
A skip was on fire, with the flames affecting a hedgerow. Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the blaze.
