Police seek man following substantial criminal damage to parked car

POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about an incident involving substantial damage being caused to a parked car at Stockton Heath, Warrington.

At around 4.22pm on Saturday 2 December, officers in Warrington responded that a vehicle had been damaged at an address on West Avenue, Stockton Heath.

Officers attended the scene and found that an unknown man had caused substantial damage to the bodywork of the vehicle, a Black Audi RS, using a sharp object.

The man is described as white with short grey hair and, at the time of the incident, he was wearing a flat cap and a suede jacket.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in relation to this incident.

Police Constable William Austin, of Warrington Beat Team, said:“Enquiries are currently ongoing and as part of our investigation, we would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV image.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the man pictured to come forward.”
